Campus Events

Nationally known lecturers, scholars, artists, authors, actors, and dancers come to campus each year. Groups of students periodically travel to Philadelphia and New York for opportunities such as backstage tours of the Metropolitan Opera or rehearsals of the New York Philharmonic. In addition, recitals by students and faculty and performances by choral and instrumental ensembles are offered by the College's Music Department. The Art Department sponsors student and invitational exhibits in the Payne Gallery and in the H. Paty Eiffe Gallery of the Haupert Union Building. The Moravian College Theatre Company presents several plays each year in the Arena Theater. Several film series present outstanding motion pictures to the College community.
