MSC 510 - Profess Orientation:Ethics/Counsel

This course examines orientation, history, roles, organizational structures, and ethical issues in the field of professional clinical counseling. Other topics include developing ethical decision-making systems, protection of client confidentiality, maintenance of proper records and documentation, multicultural sensitivity, advocacy and other legal concerns. This class will use both the ACA Code of Ethics and PA jurisprudence, professional development, standards and credentialing will also be covered.
