MUS 215 - Live Audio Production

This course provides an introduction to the world of live audio engineering. Topics covered include signal flow and signal processing, microphone techniques, reading and creating stage plots and input lists, and how to program digital audio workstations for live performances. Throughout the course, emphasis is placed on showcasing the array of roles and responsibilities within live audio, from mixing front of house, to pre-production planning and setting up Ableton for playback.

Prerequisite: MUS 137.1  & MUS 218.2
