Students in this course explore a comprehensive foundational study aimed at recording small sized ensembles. The course will include microphone selection, microphone placement, multitracking, pre-amp configuration, signal flow, balance, sound design and mixdown strategies. These recordings become part of the student portfolio and are uploaded to the Moravian University Music Archives.
