Students examine a variety of psychosocial and physical factors that influence occupational performance, including a formal medical or DSM diagnosis, trauma, homelessness, joblessness, literacy, poverty, access to healthcare, community access, and incarceration. Medical terminology is introduced and integrated into this course.
