OT 530 - Environ Factors, Modification, Adap

Occupational therapists evaluate and adapt environments in order to promote participation in everyday activities. In this course, students will gain an in-depth knowledge of the physical elements of our world and their relationship to function, including technology, products (assistive devices and orthosis), as well as natural and man-made spaces. Students will study the impact of the American with Disabilities Act and Universal Design principles on creating an inclusive community for everyone.

Prerequisite: OT 542
