OT 630 - Adv Professional Ethics in OT


2 Credits

This course studies ethical theory and ethical decision making within the discipline and profession of occupational therapy by critically examining situational problems and by reflectively exploring ethical solutions that are coherent with and supported by the core values, principles, and guidelines of the Code of Ethics and Ethical Standards of the profession. The course will examine ethical dilemmas that arise within different areas of the profession and the problem of moral distress and its various causes.

Prerequisite: OT 500
