PHYS 343 - Intro Mathematical Physics

Mathematical techniques for solving ordinary and partial differential equations that arise in theoretical physics. Topics include series solutions, special functions, operational methods, boundary-value problems, orthogonal functions, product solutions, and/or selected topics determined by needs of students and interest of instructor.

Prerequisite: At least one year of college physics and MATH 254 .
