SLP 930 - Applied Research & Practice

This course allows students to identify a mentor within a desired area of practice to assist in identifying knowledge and practice gaps. Students may opt to explore topics related to clinical practice skills, business development, teaching and learning, policy and advocacy, leadership development, and research experience. Students must have this course and the specific learning objectives approved by the program director prior to enrollment. The course will require a completed artifact that demonstrates completion of specific learning objectives. This course will run for two 8-week consecutive blocks for a total enrollment of 16 weeks. This course is required to be repeated.
