A study of the Spanish Peninsular literature of the 19th and 20th centuries as portrayed in novels, romanticism, realism, naturalism, and the Generacion del ‘98, and the adaptation of representative works into a film version. An incursion into modernism, Generacion del ‘27, the postwar novel, and contemporary post-Francoist literature as seen in the new cinema and in other forms of art.
