This course investigates the impact of emblematic literature in the early modern Spanish world through the study of parallels between emblems and literature and emblems and the visual arts. Students have the opportunity to conduct individual research and are encouraged to present their work at undergraduate conferences.

Prerequisite: SPAN 210, SPAN 215, and one other 200-level course (or its equivalent abroad)
