This mid-level course introduces students to the development of, and some important arguments within the field of Queer Theory. Building on the lessons from WGSS 101, the course will address topics that include, but are not limited to, the category of the “normal” and its impact on understandings of sexuality, gender, race, ethnicity, class, and nationality.
