In this course, we will explore the importance of information systems in an organization and the usage of computer applications in the business and industry environment. Students will advance their management skills and gain an understanding of concepts in computing with the focus on hands-on experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel as well as Adobe Acrobat Pro. Through an in-depth use of Microsoft Excel, students in this course will develop advanced skills in the following: spreadsheets, formulas & functions, charts, datasets & tables, and specialized functions.
