PSY 311 - Applied Social Psychology 4 Credits

This course explores the scientific study of how individuals think, feel, and behave in social contexts. Students will examine key topics such as social perception, attitude formation and change, group dynamics, prejudice and discrimination, interpersonal relationships, and the influence of culture on behavior. The course also covers the psychological mechanisms behind conformity, persuasion, aggression, and prosocial behavior. Students will learn how social environments shape individual behavior and how psychological theories can explain real-world social phenomena.
Prerequisite: PSY220 - Research Methods in Psyc Credit Type Code: Letter Grade
