To better understand the nature of well-being, we have to address it on three levels: the universal, the cultural, and the personal. This course explores that which is common to us all (the universal) and distinguishes it from that which is unique to our environment (the cultural) and to ourselves (the personal). While we can study the universal and cultural through research, our personal needs reveal themselves to us through mesearch. Fulfills the Humanistic Inquiry general education requirement. 4 credits
