PSY 330 - Applied Psychopathology 4 Credits

This course provides an in-depth exploration of psychological disorders, focusing on their symptoms, causes, and treatments. Students will examine a wide range of mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders. The course will cover the diagnostic criteria outlined in the DSM-5, as well as contemporary research on the biological, psychological, and environmental factors that contribute to psychopathology. Prerequisite: PSY 220 Research Methods in Psychology. 4 credits
