MATH 103 - Precalculus

This course develops the algebraic, graphical, and analytical skills essential for success in Calculus. Students study polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions; solve associated equations and inequalities; and explore function operations, inverses, and transformations. Emphasis is placed on understanding function behavior, interpreting rates of change, and building intuitive foundations for limits and derivatives. Designed for students preparing to enter Math 170, Calculus I.
