AVMG 275 - En Route Procedures And Airspace 3 Credits

This course provides an in-depth study of en route (Center) air traffic control procedures, airspace structures, sector operations, radar and non-radar separation, flow management, altitude assignments, route structures, and coordination between facilities. Emphasis is placed on FAA JO 7110.65 standards, en route radar rules, high-altitude operations, aircraft performance, traffic flows, and emergency procedures used within Air Route Traffic Control Centers (ARTCCs). Students will interpret en route charts, plan high-altitude traffic flows, and apply separation standards through practical exercises. Pre-Requisites: AVMG 105 or instructor approval. 3 Credits
