AVMG 205 - Terminal Airspace And Procedures 3 Credits

This course focuses on terminal airspace operations, including Class B/C/D airspace, approach and departure procedures, radar vectoring, wake turbulence separation, arrival/departure flows, STARS/SIDs, and TRACON facility operations. Students will interpret real-world terminal charts, apply FAA ATC procedures, and practice sequencing, vectoring, and traffic management in a terminal environment. The course uses FAA Orders, 14 CFR regulations, and the Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM) as primary reference frameworks. Pre Req: AVMG 105 or instructor approval. 3 Credits.
