Emphasis lies on the mastering of grammatical forms, fundamental syntax, and basic vocabulary, aiming toward deeper understanding of these writings. (Before the end of the drop/add period, students may elect to take this course Pass/No Pass by notifying the instructor in writing.) 3 credits
