EDUC 631 - The Hr Leaders As Architect

Examines the foundational human capital systems through which K-12 districts build their workforce - including workforce planning, recruitment and selection, educator diversity pipelines, onboarding, and succession planning. Students develop operational competence in strategic staffing while simultaneously interrogating the assumptions embedded in their current hiring systems and designing more equitable, human-centered alternatives. Grounded in Pennsylvania-specific context and national K-12 HR standards, this course develops HR leaders who are both effective architects of the present workforce and intentional designers of the one their communities deserve.
