IDIS 324 - Grant Writing For Stem

This course is designed to teach the foundations of grants for STEM fields. Throughout the course, participants will learn to search for funding sources, match needs with funding agencies, read and understand a grant solicitation, develop a blueprint (idea generation), develop a concept paper, prepare a proposal, and understand reporting requirements. We will consider private, state, and federal grants associated with different STEM fields and STEM education.

Prerequisite: Juniors and Seniors only
