MATH 213 - Peer Tutoring Theory & Practice 2 Credits

This course prepares undergraduate students to serve as effective peer tutors for quantitative courses. Through a combination of theory and practice, students will learn to apply evidence-based tutoring strategies, manage tutoring sessions, and support diverse learners. Emphasis is placed on effective communication, ethical responsibilities, and promoting independent learning in a collaborative environment. This course is designed to support students who wish to become Math Fellows or Quantitative Resource Center Tutors.
