MSUC 645 - Prevent, Policy,Ethics In Addiction

This course examines the ethical, legal, policy, and prevention frameworks that shape substance use treatment and recovery systems. Students explore prevention science, public health approaches, federal and state policy initiatives, and the ethical responsibilities of addiction professionals. Emphasis is placed on advocacy, culturally responsive prevention programming, and the counselor’s role in systems-level change.
