SOCW 341 - Sw Practice With Individuals 4 Credits

This course introduces students to micro-level social work practice with individuals. Taking a generalist, strengths-based, and person-in-environment approach, students will learn core competencies of engagement, assessment, intervention, evaluation, and termination. Through lectures, role-plays, case studies, and skill labs, students will develop foundational communication, interviewing, and critical thinking skills to prepare for entry-level social work practice
