THEO 679 - Proctor Conference

This course will explore the virtues, values and virtuosities necessary to build ministries and communities of faith for the common good in the context of a complex global environment. The course will increase seminarians’ awareness and understanding of the peculiar challenges facing the tradition of visionary prophetic leadership in the rapidly changing political and religious landscape of the 21st century. Seminarians will engage in pedagogies and practices designed to cultivate spiritual renewal, leadership, and activism. This course extends opportunities for pre- and post-conference discourse, theological reflection and study, research as well as ministry partnerships.
