THEO 811 - Collaborative Research Seminar 3 Credits
The Collaborative Research Seminar is a cohort-style class that combines elements of directed study and peer-learning. Limited to six participants, determined by need and readiness for this work, students gather for guidance and peer support as they work to develop their Major Project idea through dedicated research and writing in their subject-area. Activities in the course include developing and working through a subject-specific reading list, writing and sharing reading summaries, connecting readings to one’s ministry context and Major Project, interviewing subject matter experts and program alumni, and reflecting together to enhance this work.
