THEO 825 - Forming Faith In A Digital World

This course examines how Christian theology and faith formation take shape in a digitally mediated world. Students will develop a theological framework for engaging digital technologies in ministry, while critically assessing how technologies such as social media, artificial intelligence, and streaming media impact spiritual practices, relationships, and communal life. Drawing on theology, digital studies, and the social sciences, the course invites students to consider how digital technologies can enhance or hinder faith formation. Through engagement with digital tools, students will design a theologically grounded ministry resource, preparing them to lead faithfully and thoughtfully in digitally networked contexts.
