NURS 346 - Pediatric Nursing and Family-Centered Care 3 Credits
In this clinical course, students will gain nursing knowledge to promote optimal growth, development, and health of the pediatric patient from newborn through adolescence in a variety of care contexts. The course emphasizes the abilities to plan, evaluate the safety of, and effectively administer family-centered, customized care in pediatric settings.
Prerequisite: BIOL 103 , BIOL 104 , BIOL 205 , and BIOL 206 ; CHEM 108 ; NURS 115 , NURS 212 , NURS 311 , NURS 310 ; PSYC 207
