EDUC 211 - Child Devel & Cognition II 1 Units
This course is a continuation of the study of development of young children from six through nine. This course will begin with research and contemporary issues in learning and teaching. Major developmental theories as they relate to physical and motor, social and emotional, and cognitive domains will be addressed. It will also focus on the application of knowledge to teaching and working with early school age children. Strategies and activities will be learned. The concepts will be foundational for other courses in early childhood education. 40-hour field experience. Clearances and other documents for fieldwork required
