This course presents the comprehensive, current professional research on music and movement while providing links between theory and practice. Students will also learn about a young child’s physical and psychological health and safety. The role of the family and diversity will also be discussed. Pennsylvania’s standards for the arts and humanities will also be addressed.

Prerequisite: QPA of 2.70, EDUC 100.2 or EDUC 160
