EDUC 513.2 - The Arts in Education

In this course the emphasis will be on the process and not the product. Students will learn how to guide young children in creatively expressing themselves in the arts: visual, dance, movement, and drama. Students will also learn how to extend the arts into homes and families. National standards will also be addressed. Fall and spring. (Undergraduate cognate: EDUC 213.2).

Prerequisite: QPA of 2.70, EDUC 507.
