EDUC 534 - Include Stud W/ Disabilities 3 Credits
This course is designed to familiarize students with current issues regarding special education services as they relate to students with disabilities, their families, and general education, the social model of disability, a historical perspective of special education services, special education laws and regulations at the federal and state levels, federal and state definitions, inclusionary practices, and research-based methodologies. Fall and spring. (Undergraduate cognate: EDUC 244).
Prerequisite: EDUC 507 ; QPA of 2.70 Corequisite: EDUC 503 or EDUC 510 Credit Type Code: Letter Grade
