EDUC 552 - Math for Middle Level Learners

This course is designed to prepare pre-service teachers to work with students in grades 4 through 8 to help them learn important mathematical concepts, skills, and problem-solving techniques. In the process, it is hoped that thinking will be challenged and interest in mathematics stimulated. Fall. (Undergraduate cognate: EDUC 332).

Prerequisite: QPA of 2.70; EDUC 503, EDUC 507, EDUC 540.2, and EDUC 544; MATH 107 and MATH 125 with a grade of C or better; passing scores on PPST or PAPA Reading, writing and Mathematics.
