EDUC 579 - Art Education as Inquiry: Theory, Practice, and Integration 3 Credits
Weekly seminar integrates art educational theory with classroom experience for pre-service and in-service educators’ professional development. This graduate seminar positions art education as a form of inquiry grounded in theory, studio practice, and reflective teaching. Students examine contemporary art education research while designing curriculum that supports both discipline-based art instruction and arts integration across content areas.
