HLAT 881 - Advanced Clinical Practice

3 Credits

This course allows students to identify a clinical mentor within a desired area of practice to assist in identifying knowledge and clinical practice gaps. Students may also opt to complete a clinical residency at a site different than their employment setting in order to obtain a different perspective of the role of the certified athletic trainer. Students must have this course and the specific learning objectives approved by the Program Director prior to enrollment. This course requires a critically reflection on the objectives at the completion of the course. This course can be repeated twice.
