Philosophy

Required Courses in the Major

The major in philosophy consists of nine-course units in philosophy . Only one 100-level course will count towards the major. Students must take at least two 300-level courses and one Writing Intensive course. One of the nine philosophy courses may come from a related program subject to approval by the chair of the philosophy department.
