Education Minor

Students seeking certification in one or more of the approved areas of secondary education will have a minor in education if they complete the requirements for certification.

Required Courses in the Minor

The minor in education for students not seeking teacher certification consists of five course units:

EDUC 230 - Student Devel & Instruct Design
EDUC 210 - Child Devel & Cognition I
EDUC 211 - Child Devel & Cognition II
EDUC 160 - Culture, Community, Diversity
EDUC 244 - Include Stud W/ Disabilities
and two additional course units in education, selected with the advisor’s approval.
