EDUC 330 - Social Studies/Mid Level Learn 1 Units
The purpose of this course is to introduce pre-service teachers through practical examples to the “methods of mind” which children need to develop to become scholars, social scientists, problem-solvers, and citizens. The goal is to have students design a series of activities and experiences that incorporate the most important of these methods. Most class sessions will involve discussion of the material, small-group problem solving, or the presentation of learning experiences for children. Fall.
